At Tall Pines, you never need to worry about access to recreational activities. On-site we offer a lovely western exposure beach, boathouse, games room with sun deck, docking, aluminum boat and motor rentals, paddleboat and canoe, fishing with access to the Boshkung Lakes, shuffleboard, horseshoes and volleyball on request, a large play area for the children, and a campfire pit. 

Within walking distance you will find three restaurants, a bowling alley with fast food, two convenience stores, mini-golf, a driving range, batting cages, and access to a walking trail. Just a short drive away are public tennis courts, a hiking trail network, mountain bike trails, horseback riding, numerous golf courses,  a white water reserve for kayaking, many artisans' studios, and the towns of Minden and Haliburton for your shopping needs. 

There is also a marina on Twelve Mile Lake that offers powerboat, pontoon boat, and personal watercraft rentals.
